​Anxiety is a natural response our body has to stress. When we’re confronted with a challenge, stress can show up in different ways, like excessive worry, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, or physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, sweating, shaking, tense muscles, headaches, or gastrointestinal issues.​ Anxiety can be triggered by a particular event or build up slowly over time because of ongoing stress.

While feeling anxious now and then is totally normal, constant anxiety can start to affect your daily life, relationships, work, and overall well-being.
